Seven pace zones, one starting point.
How Runiverse calculates pace zones and uses them in your workouts.
Your current fitness comes first
A recent performance, current VDOT or current easy pace can calibrate your paces. Distance programmes show seven zones with pace ranges when available, otherwise effort cues. Beginners have no pace zones. Your target time does not increase your training pace.
Recovery still means running
The Recovery zone is an easy running pace. Walking breaks and stationary rest steps have no running zone, keeping every instruction clear.
A plan keeps its paces
Your pace zones are saved when the plan is generated. If a calculator changes later, your existing plan keeps its saved values.
